The AMA Advisory Committee on Group Practice will host a 90-minute Web conference Thursday, April 24. “Getting Paid What You Deserve: Strategies for Reimbursement and Payer Contracting” will concentrate on how to negotiate and manage payer relationships to help distinguish your practice’s value in a way that results in higher reimbursements. The registration fee for AMA members is $125 ($200 for nonmembers) and includes 1.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ or 1.5 continuing education units (CEU) toward renewal of the Professional Association of Health Care Office Management (PAHCOM) Medical Manager certification.

The program is geared toward physicians and practice managers in small- to medium-size group practices. The faculty for this program is Rick Langosch, CFO, The Coker Group.
