Medical Students to Hold Benefit Concert

"Hear and Gather: Benefiting the HOPE and GLOH clincs, providing healthcare to the uninsured"
Featuring: Amherst, Sugar Spell It Out, Everyman, and Wax Melodic (five local bands)
April 18th @ Headliners in Louisville, ALL AGES
Doors open at 7:00pm and music starts at 8:00pm

All proceeds to benefit the HOPE and GLOH clinics

The HOPE Clinic (Health Outreach and Pediatric Education) is a student-directed clinic in Louisville that provides free, non-emergency, primary care to women and children who are medically underserved. The target population includes women and children who are living in homeless shelters, who are not insured and/or who cannot afford to access their available health insurance.The G.L.O.H. clinic (Greater Louisville Organization for Health) is a primary care clinic open to men, women, and children. It also serves a large population of recent immigrants from Asia, Latin America, and Africa. With a requested, not required donation of $10 with this clinic, patients can go to a nearby pharmacy and get free prescriptions.
