The Young Physicians Steering Committee, chaired by Heather Harmon, MD, has planned a Young Physicians Day at the Capitol on Thursday, February 21, 2008. Young Physicians and Residents are invited to meet in Frankfort at the Capitol annex, Room 125, at 9:00 am EST, for a legislative briefing by KMA Director of Public and Governmental Relations Marty White. Following the briefing, physicians are invited to visit their legislators (appointments can be made by calling 502-564-8100) and watch the action on the House and Senate floors.
