Vic and Kelley are two new health conscious friends Kentucky youngsters will be meeting soon. Vic and Kelley are the central characters in a healthy living activity booklet developed by the Kentucky Medical Association Public Education Committee. The booklets are available to all Kentucky public and private schools.

KMA discovered a need for educational materials aimed at kindergarten through the early elementary grades and the committee devoted nearly two years to developing a primary tool for helping young people learn healthy habits and attitudes.

The cost of developing and printing Say Ahh! was paid for by a special public education fund established by member physicians of KMA. The booklets are given to schools and other educational institutions at no cost to them.

Activities in the booklet all have a health-related theme such as how to reduce the chance of becoming ill just by properly and frequently washing your hands. The activities range from pages for coloring to connecting the dots to word games.
